Andrew Archer Illustrates How the World Might End

This is the End - California Magazine - Illustration by Andrew Archer

A giant monster squid crushes a skyscraper, an asteroid hurls toward the Earth, or a smog-like plague spreads through a crowded village: these are some of the doomsday scenarios in these illustrations about how the world may end, done by Andrew Archer for California Magazine. You can see the influence of Japanese wood block prints in his work, which I think is appropriate for this series since it brings to mind horror and monster movies, like Godzilla, that have come from Asia.
