For every artist, his subject is like a blank canvas where he invests his creativity and passion. Capturing this passion also requires an approach which is equally imaginative. It is this combination which comes out in the collection of photographs by Spanish photographer Juan Sanchez Castillo as he celebrates the art of make-up and presents it creatively with some funny and surreal images of workers working on the face of his model.
Castillo’s photographs treat the face of his model as a landscape where miniature workers are doing various activities to make it look beautiful. He has named the series as “Making It Up” and has done the project with the help of his wife in an act to pay respect to the creative art.
