Face the Foliage: Justina Blakeney’s Flower Petal Portraits

Face the Foliage - Art by Justina Blakeney

These bright and luscious-looking portraits are made totally from plant materials. Individual leaves and petals form the women’s  lips, eyelashes, and rosy cheeks, with whole flowers providing hair or other accents. I think it’s fantastic how even the lines created by thin stems are full of expression. These images are from designer and blogger Justina Blakeney, who also encourages others to make their own similar creations and post them online with the hashtag #facethefoliage.
