Ralph Smith Creates “False Landscapes” in Photography with Dazzling Colours

False Landscapes - Photo by Ralph Smith

These False Landscapes show the wilderness in dramatic, otherworldly colours. The photos are quite mesmerizing, with their features becoming almost like abstract patterns in some of the images. The forests and mountains are more recognizable in other photos, but they have an alien feel compared to the way we usually see these types of places depicted. They are by New York-based photographer Ralph Smith.
