Samuel Pettersson Becomes “The Animal” in Conceptual Self-Portraits

The Animal - Photo by Samuel Pettersson

In these conceptual self-portraits, Samuel Pettersson has made himself into a man with two upper bodies and no legs, like a severely conjoined twin. He calls this “djuret” or The Animal. I think this is a fascinating idea, and I love the dramatic lighting used in many of the photographs. Pettersson is from Sweden.
