Vincent Richel creates these fantastic little pieces out of driftwood he finds around the lakes of Maine.
Via his artist statement:
“Inspired by nature and the beauty of my surroundings, I create sculptures with driftwood in an attempt to emulate nature. Each collected piece that has been weathered, and shaped by time and the elements, is unique. The pieces come together to create sculptures that evoke a feeling of having drifted naturally; like the flow of water creating a drift in a lake. My sculptures pay homage to the cycle of life, and become a reflection of nature and it’s intrinsic beauty.”
