The Colorful City: Jose Oti’s Take on Minimal Architectural Photos

The Colorful City - Photo by Jose E. Oti

We’ve featured similar, minimalist photos of architecture on this blog before (by Lino Russo and Stefan Bleihauer), but Jose E. Oti‘s take on this subject in The Colorful City is worth a look. Oti’s photos focus on the bright colors and strong patterns that are already present in some buildings. They are very tightly cropped, and when the sky is shown, it is used mainly as negative space. Oti is from Spain.
