These pretty, artistic dolls were created by Julia Zyubyairova, from Tokyo, Japan. Dreams Collector is an exotic, mysterious woman who carries her bounty in a cage – with these dreams or ideas represented as balls with wings. In Expectation, a girl with wind-swept hair carries driftwood, while Inside is a girl with a large fish. These both demonstrate a fascination with the sea. A Little Princess is a girl with a dainty, home-made crown on her head. The artist uses materials such as wood, fabric, and air-dry clay to make these scupltures. I really appreciate the different, natural poses these dolls are in, and the wide range of fashions they wear.
