Martín De Pasquale’s Illusion-Filled Photographs

These surreal, “impossible” photographs of Martín De Pasquale are mostly light-hearted, though a few are just strange enough to cause me some discomfort (like an image that shows a giant carrot chopping up a person). They are highly manipulated self-portraits. I like how these photos often play with scale, showing Lilliputian clones of the subject carrying away his heart or jumping from his mouth, or showing a drum set made from batteries. Other images have the artist unscrewing his head like a light bulb and drinking from a glass which fills up his otherwise-clear body. Via Design Collector
