Otto Robotto’s Recycled Metal Robot Sculptures

Fairymother - Sculpture by Ottó Robotto Szabó

These imaginative metal sculptures are by Ottó Szabó, who goes by the appropriate — and rhyming — nickname Otto Robotto. Each of these mechanical creatures is imbued with a personality. One is a fairy godmother, with wings and a magic wand, while others appear more suited to industrial purposes. I love the way the robots feel like they have been designed as a cohesive whole, despite the fact they were made using found and recycled objects. The artist currently lives in London, U.K., but is previously from Hungary.
