Not all the work we feature on arthaus has such significant meaning to its creator. In this instance, Iranian photographer and graphic designer Thymournia’s work is laden with emotion. His black and white photography is full of atmosphere – you sense despair and a great deal of personal loss. Looking through the photos you can’t help but feel for the guy.

including personal and also witnessing the events around me and in the lives of people I know till now. All comes from a dark past and the blank future.”
